Children’s programs at JFUMC are designed to bring kids together in fun and faith, uniting quality fellowship with meaningful spiritual development. All children’s programs are open to children in the community and we always welcome new friends to join us!
LEGO Club The JFUMC LEGO Club meets once or twice each month, so you can always watch the bulletin or check the online calendar for meeting dates. We are adding some MIXELS sets to our Lego’s to “mix things up” a bit! LEGO Club is open to children from age 3 through fifth grade. (Smaller children use LEGO Duplos or Quattros for safety!) Children are given a building challenge and work together to complete the task together. We have lots of LEGO’S and lots of fun. We hope you can join us!
JFUMC Kids Club! This club has a focus on the strong morals and ethics supported by the American Girls Library, providing an educational and fun chance for our children to enjoy Christian fellowship together. We’ll enjoy special crafts, cooking/baking, and other activities. We will also cover serious topics like ways to make new friends, ways to handle a bully and more. Kid’s Club meets once a month, so watch your bulletins, newsletter or check the online calendar for meeting dates.
Other Children’s Activities and Events are held throughout the year and are announced via the monthly church newsletter and the weekly worship bulletins. Activities and events that have happened in prior years include Easter and Christmas Pageants, seasonal children’s choirs, a children’s musical performance, Easter egg hunts, participation in the Jefferson Christmas parade, serving in church wide mission projects, Vacation Bible school and much more!
