Bob Reynolds joins the church staff as Pastor of Care & Visitation officially in January 2016, after serving in this area for several years at JFUMC. Pastor Bob is a retired ordained Elder in Full connection in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. He served churches in the North Georgia Conference from 1975 until retirement in 2005. After retirement, he served as Pastor of Mt. Pleasant UMC from 2005-2008, and has been at Jefferson First since 2008.
Bob attended Piedmont College, earning a B.A. with a double major in English and Math; and earned his Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology – Emory University. Before entering the Candler School of Theology, he worked as Division Accounting Manager of Gold Kist Poultry in Ellijay, GA.
Bob is married to Judy Hassell Reynolds and they have three sons, a daughter, and eighteen grandchildren.
Pastor Bob has a passion for preaching, leading people to become disciples of Jesus Christ and know the joys of graceful living. His favorite scriptures are:
